Info for Parents

Dear Walla Walla Public School Parent or Guardian,

We’d like to introduce you to the free on-site supplemental student healthcare available at your child’s school. The Health Center offers basic medical, behavioral health, and care management services to students (by appointment or on a drop-in basis) during school hours. The goal of The Health Center is to promote the overall health of students so they can benefit fully from their educational program. All services are provided by licensed medical and mental health professionals. Some of these services include updating students on their immunizations, administering Tylenol to help treat pain or headaches, providing a counselor for a student to talk with, and helping connect students to care available in the community. All services are FREE and available to all students once they are registered with The Health Center. No insurance or government documentation is required. However, billing insurance helps our financial sustainability and allows us to continue to offer services to all students, free of charge. No co-pays or out of pocket expenses are required from you.

We are open whenever school is in session. Permission forms are sent out in back-to-school packets. If you would like to sign forms now, they are linked below. The Health Center’s staff looks forward to being a support to your family.

Lindsay Engh, Executive Director, The Health Center
