Janet joined the Health Center team in 2019. She supports students and the medical and mental health providers at Walla Walla High School in the role of Care Coordinator.
Mariana is our Garrison Bilingual Care Coordinator. She grew up in Milton Freewater and the Walla Walla Valley. She comes with years of experience in administration, working in mental health, medical care, and management roles. Before joining our team, Mariana worked with Special Education students in the Milton Freewater school district.
Master of Clinical Social Work: Walla Walla University: Tim’s Experience includes work supporting families with major illness and hospice care, and working with preschool through high school children/adolescents in school-based health centers. He prefers a person-centered view informed by neuropsychology; integrating modalities with Choice Theory, which includes a number of thinking, behavioral, emotional, and body-based tools to improve relationships and empower people to find more effective ways of meeting their needs. Tim supervises providers completing hours for social work licensure and master degree candidates.
Jill graduated from Walla Walla University with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and has provided mental health services to students at WWHS since 2021. Jill is a long-time resident of Walla Walla and has enjoyed giving back to the young people in the community.
Sarah has a Masters degree in Social Work from Walla Walla University, with specific class work in attachment, children, and cognitive therapy. Her experience includes working with adolescents in school-based health centers, survivors of trauma, helping individuals of all ages and life experiences navigate through crises, and those involved in corrections. Sarah utilizes a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy, pulling from cognitive behavior therapies including trauma-focused theories, play/art therapy, and solution-focused therapy. This approach allows her to meet students where they are at in their journey, identify what they want to work on and empower them to accomplish their goals.
Jess Davison, MSW, LSWAIC (SC61350892): Jess Davison, MSW, LSWAIC (SC61350892) Master of Social Work; Walla Walla University. I have a passion for trauma recovery, and I'm excited about helping clients discover within themselves their natural capacities for healing and overcoming adversity. At The Health Center, I provide trauma-specific services using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am receiving Washington State DOH approved supervision for the care that I provide.
Carolyn has a BA from Western Washington University and a MSW from Walla Walla University. She was born and raised in Walla Walla. As a Pi-Hi Alum, she was excited to return to the Pioneer community. Carolyn’s therapeutic interests include art therapy, narrative therapy, and working with autists. She enjoys hiking, gardening, creating art, and fostering kittens.
Marie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington State. Her professional work history includes, most recently a Therapist in a Primary Health Care setting, Community Mental Health, which included Case Management for individuals with chronic mental illness, Crisis Intervention and Stabilization, Field Care Management for individuals with complex medical needs, Corrections Mental Health, Dialysis Social Work, Case Management with Active Duty Military and Therapist in Private Practice. The Methods of Intervention she prefers to use start with a Psychosocial Assessment, which may include a strengths-based, Client-Centered, Solution-focused approach, EMDR, DBT, and Integrated Trauma Therapy Approach (may include expressive therapy such as music, movement, and art).
Delia is a social worker with a passion for serving low-income and marginalized communities. She has a background in community organizing, believes in the power of community-based solutions, and works to empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their families. She has a strong belief in the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces for all individuals. Delia graduated from Walla Walla University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. Certified as a Positive Parenting Program (PPP), Strengthening Families, and Financial Coaching. She has had the pleasure of working in this community for over 10 years as a therapist and enjoys working with diverse individuals in the community. Delia has experience working with children, families, and teenagers, providing parent support and developing skills in stress reduction and communication, as well as experience working with Spanish-speaking individuals. Her method is strength-based, motivational interview, and trauma-informed, and she creates an open space to work in collaboration with clients to provide their needs.
Tracy has worked in the field of counseling for 11 years in private practice and in school settings. She is passionate about, and especially enjoys, working with adolescents and young adults. Tracy has been a Guardian ad Litem in several Eastern Washington Counties since 2013. She has a Master's degree in Psychology and two Bachelor's degrees from Washington State University...GO COUGS. She is a yoga instructor currently working on a 1000-hour Yoga Therapy certification.
Bryson Gobel is a Master’s student currently pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of the Cumberlands. He is an intern completing his supervised hours under the supervision of Tim Schroeder and Regina Myers. Bryson has experience working with youth in school settings and in volunteer capacities. He is interested in person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. It is his desire to provide people with unconditional positive regard and to demonstrate empathy as they learn to uncover unhelpful thoughts that can be challenged leading to change. Bryson looks forward to learning over this next year and journeying with clients as they learn to unburden themselves.
Jenn began as a volunteer RN for The Health Center in 2022, and officially joined the team in 2023. She loves working with high school students and educating them on ways to stay healthy and in school. Jenn previously lived in Seattle where she volunteered in a clinic that served families experiencing homelessness. She has prior hospital, clinic, and healthcare management experience.
Alina is a lifelong resident of Walla Walla, attending Greenpark Elementary, Pioneer Middle School, Wa-Hi, and completing her education at WWCC through Running Start. She continued at WWCC over the next few years, working through the nursing program. Alina graduated with a nursing degree in 2022 and will begin her bachelor program early next year. She works at the Women's Clinic at Walla Walla Clinic and a few days a month at The Health Center. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing at home.
